Who’s the demon?

Remember how Democrats were criticizing Republicans for inflammatory rhetoric after Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was shot? How about all the times top Democrats made it seem like Republicans weren’t ready to compromise? To hear them tell it, Democrats are above the fray, while those allegedly unreasonable Republicans were impossible to deal with.

Well, if you’ve been taking sips of the liberal Kool Aid between the times your head was in the sand, you’ll see that both parties contribute to the animosity in Washington. How can you work with, or take seriously, someone who calls you a demon? Is it really that hard to maintain a collegial relationship?

New York Representative Anthony Weiner will seel treatment for e-mailing women. I kid you not.

I don’t like Anthony Weiner, but I thought the attention and calls for his resignation were ridiculous. As I stated before, the only person who should be upset or appalled is his wife.

Let’s step back for a moment: He texted, e-mailed, and sent pictures of himself to adult women. He didn’t assault anyone, steal, or commit any crimes as far as anyone can tell. Scott Brown might win ‘Teddy Kennedy’s seat’

If you haven’t seen the clip where Massachusetts Senate candidate Scott Brown corrects David Gergen during a debate with Martha Coakley, you must check it out. During the debate, David Gergen asks Scott Brown about “Teddy Kennedy’s seat”, and Brown reminds him that the seat belongs to the people, not the Kennedys or the Democratic party.

Scott Brown’s campaign was seen as a long-shot at first, but he is quickly picking up momentum. As of late, he has been quite successful raising funds, and his name recognition has increased steadily.
