More evidence of the Obama Administration’s disconnect
If you needed more proof about the Obama Administration’s disconnect from the average American, here it is: The State Department wrote a report to the United Nation’s human rights commissioner detailing the federal government’s attempt to derail Arizona’s immigration law.
Yes, you read that correctly. Essentially, the federal government is categorizing a state law as a human rights abuse, and detailing how they plan to stop it with court challenges. Of course, they probably don’t mention that it merely codifies federal law at the state level, and has the support of an overwhelming majority of Americans. Those facts were conveniently not mentioned in order to make us better fit in with the world community that Barry Obama is constantly trying to appease with apologies. » read more

Robert Gates and Hilary Clinton discuss Afghanistan

Secretary of State Robert Gates and Secretary of State Hilary Clinton appeared on Meet the Press today to discuss the war in Afghanistan. David Gregory did a great job of pointing out some of the inconsistencies in their positions on Iraq vs. Afghanistan, and brought up apparent changes in Barack Obama’s position. Of course, Gates and Clinton denied there were any inconsistencies.
