Christmas and global warming

I have to say that I’m ambivalent about global warming. Intuitively, it seems to make sense, but why the cliimategate cover-ups? Also, wasn’t the next ice age being heralded a few decaes ago? If those weren’t enough to make you question global warming, we have some people espousing ideas that are just insane.

Two of my favorites appeared this week. The first suggests moving to a global policy of allowing couples to have just one child. NBC bans PETA add during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

PETA is at it again. Their latest attempt at trying to make people feel guilty for eating meat was refused by some NBC affiliates because it was deemed inappropriate. It made me think about a shirt I saw recently on ThoseShirts.com. I think it’s fitting, considering the holiday and content of the ad.
